I am a licensed psychologist and a licensed clinical addictions counselor practicing in the Triangle region of North Carolina with 30 years of experience in treating a variety of clients. For more than 20 years, I have been in private practice and privileged to participate in the personal growth of my clients by providing support and practical solutions to help address current life challenges and long-standing problems. I am continually inspired by how we cope with, endure, and find creative ways to deal with adversity, difficult pasts, current challenges, psychiatric illness, and other difficulties. I offer a highly personalized approach tailored to meet your specific needs. Drawing from a variety of approaches including cognitive behavioral strategies, psychodynamic therapy, and psychoeducation, your treatment will utilize the approaches that are most beneficial to you. Together, we will develop life goals and work toward these goals in a safe and supportive environment. A member of the American Psychological Association and the North Carolina Psychological Association, I have been in private practice for 14+ years. My primary practice is located in Chapel Hill, NC, although I also practice one day a week in Siler City. I hold a doctorate in Clinical Psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology and a B.A. from the University of Chicago. |
